• Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire - It's the first episode and thus VERY important
• Last Exit to Springfield - It's been pegged the best episode ever by a multitude of fans and EW.
• Marge vs. the Monorail - Favourite episode. Plus it's proven highly influential.

Honorable mention: Homer's Enemy, Two Bad Neighbors, Cape Feare

It might not hurt to also mark the milestone episodes as important - 100, 200, 250, 300, 350, 138

On a side note, please take this seriously. This is IMPORTANT/INFLUENTIAL episodes. Bye Bye Nerdie and MargicalHistory Tour hardly count as being either important or influential Simpsons episodes. -- Scorpion0422 19:21, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

• 22 Short Films About Springfield - Great episode, especially Skinner and Chalmers.
• 'Round Springfield - My personal favourite episode.

• Behind the Laughter It is very original and funny. I love it. I get very interested in the 'What if...?'
• Who Shot Mr Burns? One of the most famous episodes and very good as a murder mystery. Entrancing.
• Two Dozen and One Greyhounds I just love this episode. The song is great and I love the idea.
