The railroad of the Angelina & Neches River Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in the eastern part of Texas. The owned mileage extends in a southeasterly direction from Chireno to Keltys, a distance of 30.600 miles. The carrier also owns and uses 3.788 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 34.288 miles of all tracks. In addition to the above the carrier jointly owns and uses with The Houston East and West Texas Railway Company, ownership 50 per cent each, 0.215 mile of yard and side tracks at Prosser.
