editThe property was constructed partly by contract and partly by the carrier's forces, with funds furnished by the Norfolk and Western. It was formally opened to traffic on June 30, 1913.

editThe carrier uses jointly with the Norfolk and Western the latter's station and yard facilities, together with about 0.5 mile of track at Williamson. For the year ended on date of valuation, the carrier paid $3,291.58 as rental for the use of these facilities.
