Hello and welcome to the UK Trams WikiProject! Thank you for adding your name to our project membership list. Our goal is to build the most comprehensive and detailed guide to tram transport on Wikipedia. As a project member, you may add the project membership userbox to your user page if you wish.

If you haven't done so already, please add our main project page to your watchlist. If you're curious about where to start, we've gathered a few suggestions in the UK Trams project to do list. If you'd like to specialize in a particular area of study within rail transport, take a look at the current UK Trams project task forces.

This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopaedic content.

Template usage notes Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Wikipedia:WikiProject UK Trams/Welcome}}. Unlike some other welcome templates, this one doesn't include a heading. You'll still need to use the "Add new comment" button at the top or manually add a heading. This template doesn't cover the basics of Wikipedia editing. For brand-new editors, you should use a regular Welcome template. Don't forget to sign your post with ~~~~. It'd be awful to tell someone to use your talk page if they have no clue who you are...
