Late additions made to courses lineup

edit

Professors at James Madison University and Siena College are the latest additions to our roster of courses for the Public Policy Initiative. At James Madison, Jeffrey Tang is teaching the Political Economy of Technology and Science, and at Siena College, Beverly Thompson is teaching Sociology of the Family. Visit the Courses page for the full list of participating classes.

U.C. Berkeley IP Law class gets active

edit

Students in Brian Carver's Intellectual Property Law for the Information Industries course at the University of California at Berkeley are busy at work on their articles. Students are writing new articles or expanding stub articles about important IP law court cases, as well as serving as reviewers for classmates' articles. To see the articles the students are working on, check out Professor Carver's course page.

Provide feedback to students at the Workbench

edit

See the new Public Policy Workbench for more information about what articles students are working on. This page on the WikiProject serves as a central hub of activity for articles that are being worked on and offers anyone the chance to give students feedback on their articles. Have a few extra minutes? Peruse the list of articles and offer a few suggestions!

More assessors needed

edit

Several of our public policy expert volunteer assessors have had to drop out of the Initiative due to other commitments. That means we're actively recruiting a handful of additional assessors. Are you willing to help assess the quality of about 10 articles every 2 weeks? If so, please email LiAnna Davis at ldavis at wikimedia dot org for more information.
