Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Reference library/PC Gamer (UK)
This page assumes the reader has some knowledge of PC gaming culture, history, and associated abbreviations (e.g. CS for Counter-Strike, HL2 for Half-Life 2, UT for Unreal Tournament, WoW for World of Warcraft, MMORPG for massively multiplayer online role-playing game). Games are linked to their WP article where possible (and piped with the name originally used in the magazine, no matter if the Wiki article is differently named, the game has changed name or there was a typo in the mag), and mods/tools/other items without an article are linked with the URL given in the mag. If there is no WP article and no URL was given in the mag, it is not linked. If the URL given in the mag was broken, but a working link to the same page/content has been found, it is used instead. TinyURLs and the like are expanded to the original URL. Where appropriate the author of a section is given in brackets to help identification (e.g. Long Play: Worms (Tom Francis)). Descriptions of the issue cover are included where possible to aid identification of the issue. Citations should use the {{citation}} or {{cite journal}} templates.
