WiR redlist index: Politics

Welcome to WikiProject Women in Red (WiR). Our objective is to turn red links into blue ones. Our scope is women's biographies, women's works, and women's issues, broadly construed.

This list of red links is intended to serve as a basis for creating new articles on the English Wikipedia. Please note however that the red links on this list may well not be suitable as the basis for an article. All new articles must satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria with reliable independent sources.

I recently found this Wikileaked list by a US diplomat, answering a request for a list of five influential women in Saudi Arabia; these are women with connections in the government, it seems.[5] The (largely powerless) Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia article also has a list of female members; by law, 20% are female.
