What are templates?

Templates can be used to perform outreach as well as show participation on WikiProject Writing. Here are a few you can utilize yourself (on your user page) or place on other's talk pages to invite or welcome them to WikiProject Writing. You will need to copy and paste these in source editor for them to show up.

Barnstars

Barnstars are used to show gratitude to other Wikipedians when you notice them doing great work. They are a great way to show an editor your appreciation for their edits and build community. We have listed several barnstars below that are particularly relevant to the goals of WikiProject Writing. If you notice a participant making excellent contributions to WikiProject Writing, please select an appropriate barnstar and add it to their user talk page to show your gratitude.
