Students will perform a set of laboratory experiments covering areas of biochemistry such as protein analysis, enzyme purification, enzymatic assays, recombinant DNA and the polymerase chain reaction. The Wikipedia assignment will provide students with an opportunity to conduct secondary research in library databases and to contribute findings and sources to Wikipedia articles in the discipline.

Once you have decided on an article stub, begin your research. Use the Hunter College Libraries databases to find information you want to add to the stub. You should locate two peer review sources on which to base your contribution(s). There are tips for this in the Wikipedia lesson on BlackBoard.
