This course takes students through the process of writing expert witness country conditions reports for live asylum cases. I provide some introductory discussion of immigration and asylum law, but the bulk of the semester is spent working on their reports in teams (15-20 pages single spaced). I would like for students to work on topics such as disability, LGBTQ and domestic violence in the countries they are working on.
