Please feel free to add your local events to the events list under your country heading. The website of the European Heritage Days should have links to local open monument days. This list is for local "Wiki Takes <location>" events organized by participants.

Germany

User Kilian on the German Wikipedia has obtained funding (for participant expenses) for the following "Wiki Takes..." project, a multi-day session of photo-taking in central Hesse, a German region (Mittelhessen). The main towns are Gießen, Marburg, Limburg an der Lahn, and Wetzlar, along the beautiful Lahn river.

People (don't worry, non-Wikipedians are explicitly invited to apply!!) are invited to come and get their travel expenses reimbursed. The detailed information is on the German Wikipedia. The time frame to apply is NOW!!! (29 July to 6 August), and there are three sets of dates for shooting photo's: 16-18 september, 18-23 september, and 23-25 september.
