Issues with editing
editHello there, I'm Discospinster, a long-time editor of Wikipedia. I noticed that there are a lot of edits coming from students in this initiative which are causing some issues with the articles. In particular, students are changing "patients" to other terms on a large scale, where such wide-ranging changes usually require consensus. More significantly, some minor edits such as adding a wikilink have caused the removal of thousands of bytes worth of content. For example:
- This edit to Asbestosis removed over 17,000 characters of content
- This edit to Blood transfusion removed 72,000 characters of content
I'm not sure how this is happening but I would encourage editors to use the "Show changes" button when editing articles to ensure only the changes they intend are being made. I would be happy to help out if there are any questions about editing Wikipedia articles. ... discospinster talk 20:25, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
