Apologies
edit@Rschen7754, Casualdejekyll, and Imzadi1979: and anyone else who may be watching this - I'm sorry for my sharply-worded behavior earlier. RL's been a bit of a mess for me the last few days (sick wife, I'm getting over an illness that was either a sinus infection or COVID-19, and a favorite cat dying [not the one pictured on my talk page]), and I let a bit of frustration out through some words. Hopefully we can all focus on content from here on out. Hog Farm Talk 04:24, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oh; that's no good. I hope your RL improves significantly; casualdejekyll 10:59, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Hog Farm: can you please redact that edit summary or request that an admin do so? Frankly, I don't see why anyone should expect an author to willingly participate in a review that got off on such a bad foot as that. Seriously, the edit summary transcluding the nomination is beyond the pale. I can accept the explanation, but apologies can ring hollow when corrective action is not taken or otherwise demonstrated. - Unfortunately it would not meet the revdel criteria which are strictly enforced for transparency reasons. --Rschen7754 18:37, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
- I don't feel I can for two reasons: 1) it would be a significant breach of policy as Rschen7754 says, and 2) as per the transparency part of admin accountability, I'm concerned that covering over examples of my own poor behavior would look like an attempt to hide wrongdoing.
