The 1909/1908 dates clash with the copyright date in the sheet music, which is 1918. Speaking as an amateur historian of music of this time period, I hear some other issues as well.
- This sounds like an electrical recording, not an acoustic recording, which points towards a later date. (Though 1909 is not out of the question).
- The performance style is fairly loose, and the orchestration is like a society orchestra. It sounds like the beginning of the jazz era, not the end of the brass band era.
- The minstrel novelty section would have been pretty stale and square by 1918, but it would still be in common practice.

- You do realise that later prints of sheet music often up the copyright date to the then-current date, right? The song is definitely from 1908, for instance The upper-right of this image mentions its use in the Ziegfield Follies of 1908. As for the electric vs. acoustic - I'm pretty sure that all phonograph cylinders were acoustic.
