Does anybody know what we have to do to get Rafida long-term semi-protected? Every time that it's un-semi-protected, there's a predictable surge of vandalism and stalking which mainly non-admins have to clean up (admins don't seem to be very willing to deal with the consequences, though they're very quick to un-semi-protect Rafida whenever the timer counts down). And of course, asking on WP:RFP for even regular semi-protection (much less long term semi-protected) seems to be completely and utterly useless, unless the situation exactly satisfies a narrowly-defined set of rigid bureaucratic criteria -- with no allowance for particular circumstances or special cases.
