Siska Doviana and myself will be in town Thursday and Friday next week for the Meta 2011 conference http://www.metalounge.org.[1] It would be good to have a meetup one evening. January 2013

Is anyone interested in a meetup before 5 January or between 7-9 January? Siska and I will be coming past, and it would be a good time to talk about the Wikimedia Australia annual plan for 2013. See wmau:meeting:public (2013-01-06). --09:13, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Is a later date practical? I'm around, but note that huge numbers of Canberrans leave town during January (especially the first weeks as they follow on from the public service's Christmas shutdown) Nick-D (talk) 03:06, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Siska needs to be in Sydney early on 11 January to catch a flight back to Jakarta, so the 9th is the last practical day for to pass through Canberra. We are holding a meeting in Sydney on the 10th. WP:Meetup/Sydney/January 2013.
