The area that we plan to meet "was not permittable" according to a July 15th email that I got from Seattle Parks & Recreation.

Since we are only promoting the Wiknic to registered users & there has been a small amount of people signing up, it seems that we will not need a permit, nor have we had one in the past. The area has a couple of picnic tables, so obviously it is intended for informal picnicking.

I wrote back to Seattle Parks & Recreation that In the future, if we plan to have a larger event that we promote to the public, we will request a permittable space. Peaceray (talk) 23:51, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
