I've removed it, not because it's unpleasant, but because it's not relevant: Marx's argument isn't about quantity and quality at all. A more relevant citation (though I'm not arguing for its inclusion) would be Kingsley Amis's aphorism that "more means worse." --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 08:24, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't the "updates" in the sections be merged with the sections themselves? The English Wikipedia has had two million articles for two years now, and the German Wikipedia has had one million articles for three days.
