Sourcing?

Analogy

It would seem to me that the intent of this is entirely covered in WP:Naming conventions (Football in Australia), and that this is entirely analogous and doesn't need its own article. It appears sufficient to me that there is reference to PNG in that article, so it is covered from a policy perspective, and doesn't need its own standalone policy instrument.
