Just a pointer to a question about removing the PC/2 stuff for six to nine months. - Dank (push to talk) 18:50, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- No objections so far; admins should feel free to revert, and anyone can discuss. My only goal was to restrict the text to PC/1 (including removing mention of Level 1) per discussion on the talk pages of RfC 1 and RfC 2; I'm not copyediting the text or vouching for it. - Dank (push to talk) 01:55, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
- The parts I removed or edited: "Edits on articles protected by pending-changes protection will not be displayed to readers who are not logged in, until the edits are checked by reviewers. Pending-changes protection (PC protection) is useful ..."; "It can be set to hold back edits by IP/non-autoconfirmed users (level 1) or by all non-reviewers (level 2)."; "Pending-changes protection should only be restricted to reviewers in cases where full protection would usually be appropriate; for example on articles persistently targeted by sockpuppeteers with autoconfirmed accounts."; and the level-2 symbol. - Dank (push to talk) 12:37, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
