Deciding the Winner
editIt's a bit early since the 6 millionth article is still being decided, but if it's Maria Elise Turner Lauder, then it looks like User:X-Editor is the winner seeing as they're the only one to guess a specific person. Although it should be pointed out that X-Editor cheated by submitting at least 12 guesses. Maybe User:Hecseur with their guess of "Some Indian person, possibly a politician" should be the winner. - Okay so it looks like they did indeed go with Maria Elise Turner Lauder, so I think it's down to User:ProDuct0339 ("some kind of new actor") and User:Hecseur ("Some Indian person, possibly a politician"). Lauder, while not Indian, was definitely on the political side of things, so my vote is unchanged from User:Hecseur. Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[ᴛ] 11:29, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
The "Hockey War" prediction does mention Canada, and Marie Elise Turner Lauder is Canadian, so that could be the winner. There's no signature on that line, but it's one of X-Editor's many predictions https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Six-millionth_topic_pool&diff=prev&oldid=839958174 --User101010 (talk) 04:28, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Brightgalrs, call it as you see fit. We're the only ones thinking about this enough to say anything. I see we were also among the few people discussing Five-millionth topic. --User101010 (talk) 04:14, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
Alright then, by the power vested in me by Jimbo Wales, I declare User:Hecseur the winner! Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[ᴛ] 13:16, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- With great power, comes great responsibility. :-) See you again at Talk: Seven Millionth Topic Pool in a few years! --User101010 (talk) 04:03, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
