Heh, didn't fool me. Much as I'd like to believe we were getting paid, especially if it was per-edit... anyway, I thought the month-long wait for the tips project was a bit much, so this is actually very good news -- Gurch 11:25, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps the tip of the day should have been, "always look at the URL of a link before you click on it". Put your mouse pointer over the link, and, at least in internet explorer, the URL appears at the bottom left of your screen, and you can see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tip_of_the_day/Start which is clearly different from the silliness of editors being paid. While this isn't so necessary on wikipedia, it's of great use elsewhere on the internet, where links can lead you to unfortunate places. --Xyzzyplugh 13:25, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hah, I think that was a very good lil' April Fools bit. I laughed. Staxringold 16:47, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
