Minor note
editShouldn't we link to Wikipedia:Featured topics/Guadalcanal Campaign somewhere since this is what a featured topic looks like. Otherwise I think people will be confused about what a featured topic means. Remember (talk) 18:16, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
External link to John Harrison's site
editWhy is there a link to John Harrison's webpage in this text? I saw that it was briefly mentioned by User:Raul654 at Talk:Main Page, but it doesn't necessarily justify its inclusion. This seems to go against the guidelines at WP:EL, especially the opening sentence of the page, which reads "[external links] should not normally be used in the body of an article." Obviously, this isn't an article, but it is in the middle of a paragraph where a Wikilink would usually be. So why is there one on the Main Page? Are we trying to promote John Harrison here? –Dream out loud (talk) 00:12, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
