I suppose it is somewhat nice for Wikipedia, on Independence day in the United States, to feature an article (Battle of Quebec (1775)) about the American Revolutionary War. But it might be better not to choose an article about a major defeat for the U.S. side in that conflict. Independence day is generally intended as a day for celebration rather than mourning, and this story would not put anyone in a very festive mood. —BarrelProof (talk) 23:27, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is an encyclopedia, not a cheerleading competition. BencherliteTalk 09:25, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
What is the encyclopedic relevance of this article on this day, then? Is july 4th, 2013, the 240th anniversary of a battle which took place on december 31st, 1775?theBOBbobato (talk) 02:56, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
