Problems with both Redwarn and UV
Hi there. I wonder my Redwarn abruptly stopped functioning and simply disappeared from my interface. I tried everything, but to no avail. The same story with UV: Initially, I installed it using that install button - nothing happened; removed it from my common.js and then installed it manually - still, nothing; cleared browser's cache, checked toolforge.org and etc. I am really tired of using Twinkle, so please, UV team, advice me something here! - Hi @Visioncurve, I don't think you can load RedWarn and UV at the same time. Regardless, can you follow Wikipedia:CONSOLEERROR and see if you can find anything? Thanks! ✨ Ed talk! ✨ 02:26, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
When viewing Wikipedia pages, I just got an endless cycle of white screen that attempted to load stuff. I also saw a screen flash to report a bug, and ultimately I had to remove RW from my script. Here is a screenshot I was able to take that showed what kept happening. [1] I am running Windows 11, MS Edge. Sir Joseph (talk) 20:10, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- I think I resolved the issue. It looks like it might have been something in my common file because I was still getting some sort of error. I will load RedWarn again and see if it happens. Sir Joseph (talk) 20:12, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- Confirmed, you can close this. For some reason I had a loop in my Common file. Sir Joseph (talk) 20:15, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
