This English Welsh Wikipedians' NB is dead...
Ha frodyr! What a Wales we have! Dead as a dodo. Only 4 contributions have been made in the last year (yes, in 12 whole months)!
Maybe we should all just move over to the Wicipedia Cymraeg (where around 3,750 edits have been made) and bring this one to an end?
Or maybe that's already happened???

- Or maybe not. At least we still remember to sign our posts.... Ghmyrtle (talk) 06:15, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well, whose fault is that? (Yes, I know, the "Anglo-Welsh".) The question is, how to identify Welsh users and make them aware that the page exists? Deb (talk) 12:22, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Bit of a bizarre post. Maybe contributors are just getting on with editing and creating articles? --Rhyswynne (talk) 21:03, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- The noticeboard is worth having for that last grammar question alone. And even though (or perhaps especially because) it's as yet unanswered. And long live Wicipedia Cymraeg - a live translated feed into this noticeboard might even bring it back to life!? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:31, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Cool idea (or do I mean cŵl?) How would we go about that? Deb (talk) 16:56, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I have no idea how that could be done! Unless we all donate about £100 each to Jimmy Wales, I think such a tool will remain wishful thinking. Unless, that is, some very public-spirited editors over at Wici-Cy decided to do it all manually for us!? Martinevans123 (talk) 17:25, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedia on Wales Today and Radio Wales tomorrow
Just to let you know me and Victuallers will be on Radio Wales at 7.50am tomorrow talking about Wikipedia and I'll be on Wales Today (not sure what time) talking about Monmouthpedia.

- Interesting! I'll try and listen (if I wake up in time). Deb (talk) 16:55, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- That'll be earlier on today, now Deb. Should still be available here on BBC iplayer for the next 6 days. Daicaregos (talk) 17:53, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- It certainly is available - all 5 minutes of it, from 07:54:20 to 07:59:20. Nice one, Roger and John. What a brilliant idea. If only I had a crowd-sourced trendy phone that speaks Welsh. But if Cymdeithas come on-board, who knows, my translation idea in the thread above might not be such wishful thinking! Well done. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:27, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

- Listening to it now - thanks for the tip. Deb (talk) 19:06, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Further information available here (report in the Western Mail). Daicaregos (talk) 08:32, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- Just listened and read - good stuff. Now all we need is the flood (?) of new contributors.... Ghmyrtle (talk) 11:50, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
