Basis of WikiHate
editJust one question about WikiHate: how can this "guideline" dictate that the opposite of WikiLove is not WikiHate, based on the sole opinion of Elie Wiesel? Please clarify. Tds247 (talk) 04:58, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Biased Article
editThis article needs to be rewritten from a more neutral point of view. It currently only portrays WikiHate negatively. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.157.218 (talk) 12:31, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
- How can anything involving Hate be positive? Plus, it already has a disclaimer since it's an essay not an article. Veritiel (talk) 18:38, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
It isn't our place to make sweeping value judgements over whether "anything involving Hate" can be positive or not. If "WikiHate is a counterproductive attitude that takes away time from many Wikipedians." as the essay states, then that means that many wikipedians are engaging in wikihate. Therefore, wikihate is an activity or attitude that is clearly valued by at least SOME individuals. That's not even including the many non-wikipedians who hate wikipedia, who in the interest of neutrality should have their point of view represented as well, despite how we may feel about their position. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.157.218 (talk) 19:12, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
