Can't believe this exists

edit

I can't believe this exists.

I'm an autistic veterinarian opthamologist extremely frustrated with the lack of animal coverage in vision related articles.

Some articles like visible spectrum and night vision are great articles because they have a lot of animal coverage which I'm a supporter on.

Meanwhile underwater vision? This is an article we need to do our jobs on. Why on earth is an article that should be about how underwater vision works for marine life ends up being all about underwater vision in humans and underwater vision in animals is only in a paragraph on fish? This is just ridiculous.

So, happy to work with you all, and let's make animal coverage better! LoverOfAllAnimalsActivist (talk) 10:18, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Greetings!
I have checked some of your edits (special:diff/1211008144, special:diff/1211006779). Take a look at Wikipedia:Notability. An article about a topic can be created if at least one review article about the topic exists. So each article has its own scope. You should determine the topic and edit the article in the scope of the topic. If an article is about humans, then it should describe the topic in context of humans (without any common definitions). If you transform the article about humans into an article about the topic in animals, it might be deleted if no review sources will be found that cover the topic in animals context.
Also please read the Wikipedia:Reliable sources guideline and Wikipedia:No original research policy. D6194c-1cc (talk) 09:22, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
