This is a series of collapsable tables so that a season's worth of games can be placed on single page with out the article being insanely long.

With the above code,

• # = Game number
• Date = Date game is played, only use month and day, year is not needed.
• Visitor = The name of the visiting team
• Score = The final score, with visitors score first
• Home = Home team
• OT = Overtime, if any extra innings are played, e.g. 11 innings instead of 9, write 11. If no extra innings, leave blank.
• Win/Loss = The pitcher who was given the win or the loss for the team who's article it is. If the team won the game, put the winning pitcher in, if they lost, put the losing pitcher in.
• Save = Only needed if a save was recorded for a pitcher of the team who's article it is. If the team lost, it is left blank.
• Attendance = The attendance of the game
• Record = The teams record in the current series.

Add bgcolor="#bbffbb" for a win, and bgcolor="#ffbbbb" for a loss.

As this is not a template, yet can be a lot of code, it should be transcluded in the article. For example for 2007 Chicago White Sox season, the gamelog is located at 2007 Chicago White Sox season/gamelog and transcluded in the article with the code {{:2007 Chicago White Sox season/gamelog}}. Note the colon!

For example, the following code is the New York Yankees in the Division Series of 2006.

Note: The code here includes everyday of of all six months of the season. Remove the days that your team does not play. If off days are left in, it is a schedule and not a game log. There is no encyclopedic value to off days.

Redundancy

I don't think anything has to be linked more then once per series. Kingjeff 22:23, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Help?

Should the team name link in the game log link to the season or the team? (ex. this link vs. this link) and should the score be put by winning score - losing score or visiting team score - home team score? Should there be initials of first names in the game logs (of course with teams that have players with same last names such as Wandy Rodriguez and Fernando Rodriguez (baseball))? --Vzomg (talk) 23:34, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
