Introduction
editI think that every article about any town or city should include a "Transportation" topic/section. Under the main topic "transportation", it should be discussed the structures available in certain city, town, county or region, including public transportation, railroads (passenger and freight), airports and alternate methods of transportation provided there (i.e. boat, although I doubt somewhere in Colorado has boats as a method of transportation). For highways, there should be a sub-topic named "Major Highways". This sub-topic would list the major highways for the area (town, city, etc), including all Colorado State Highways, Interstate Highways, Business Loops and US Highways with a 25px highway shield, the highway name and a brief description of it. I suggest putting the highway shields in order to make the article more visually apealling. I actually had this idea when I was reading the Abilene, Texas article. However, this article is a little bit different from what I am proposing here -- it sorts the highways by their types (US Routes, State Routes, etc) and I think this is really not necessary and takes a lot of space.Felipecbg 23:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
I have already organized some articles including the "Major Highways" sub-topic. You are more than welcome to check how my proposed model looks like -- just, for exemple, the Sterling, Telluride or Grand Junction, and please give your feed back, so that we can keep improving Colorado-related articles.Felipecbg 23:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Highway Shields
editTo place a highway shield in an article, just write the code as follows:
- Interstates: * where "xx" corresponds to the Interstate. For instance, if you want to insert a Interstate 76 shield, you should write * and it should look like
Please note that the "*" before the image code is not mandatory, but it is desirable in order to place a bullet before the shield.
- US Highways: * where "xx" corresponds to the US Highway number. For instance, if you want to insert a US 34 shield, you should write * and it should look like
- Colorado State Highways: * where "xx" corresponds to the Colorado SH number. For instance, if you want to insert a Colorado SH 144 shield, you should write * and it should look like
- Business Loops: here is the code: *. For exemple, Business Loop 70 * looks like:

Please, review it and I hope you like it. As we are working to make a better wikipedia, it's important to discuss these things and give opinion. Best regards Felipecbg 23:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Request for information on WP1.0 web tool
editHello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
