Move to Wikipedia namespace?

edit

What do folks think of moving this draft essay into Wikipedia namespace? Thanks. Eclipsed   (talk)   (COI Declaration)   21:16, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is a neat idea. A few suggestions/ideas:
  • Add images per the CIO guideline's definition, but maybe clarify "non-branded."
  • "agreed to edits" seems too open to interpretation and allows for the issue of "casual approval"
  • There are many areas that would fall under "events" that could be spammy or unsavory in other ways
  • Under citations, I would just add the word "reliable sources," to avoid link spamming of commercial sites, press releases, product pages, etc. as sources
Even though it's similar to the COI guideline's pre-existing definition, CREWE might appreciate this essay, because it's more specific. User:King4057 (COI Disclosure on User Page) 00:44, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

example about examples

edit

For an example about examples used in this essay: On the #Events section the current example[1] is about the opening of a film institute. Next it would be good to have an example showing an update that is spammy or unsavory in other ways. Maybe something could be found in mainspace, or we could make an example bad edit to a sub page of this essay. Cheers. -- Eclipsed (talk) (COI Declaration) 08:40, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
