Wikipedia Project 1.0

edit

Members from the Wikipedia Project 1.0 are looking to identify the Key articles within our Wikiproject.

So as members of the project, we should make some effort to create a system to identify these key articles. I suggest we take a look at some of the expert information found here to help us make these decisions.

Wikipedia Lists

edit

(Let's aim for 50 articles right now.)

What system should be use?

edit

There are quite a few Project systems in existance for evaluating "key articles". The MilitaryHistory system is very organized and I think they can mobilize quite easily, while theCVG project, seems very decentralized. Any comments? The system above was based more on the expert system, based on substantiation. Please comment.--P-Chan 04:18, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I honestly think a good springboard would be the AFI list of top 100 films of all time, here, and we can build off that later. I can help build the page, if desired. Aguerriero (talk) 13:29, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Grading glitch

edit

I discovered something buggy in the grading system that reminds me that when we set people to grading film articles, we should write a Quick Reference or something on how to do it. I changed an article talk page to {{FilmsWikiProject|class=stub}} (note the lower-case "s" on "stub") and it had the effect of adding the article to Stub-Class film articles, but not removing it from Unassessed film articles. I capitalized the "stub" and it worked correctly. That's a gotcha that a lot of people will stumble on. Aguerriero (talk) 13:33, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
