edit- Per a discussion I had at User_talk:Davidruben#Dermatology_task_force_references_page, I have edited this page to make it more succinct, giving simply the bare essentials regarding` citing sources. kilbad (talk) 13:23, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- I also have asked for comments regarding this page at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)/Archive_63#WP:DERM:REF. ---kilbad (talk) 11:50, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- why is this different from all Wp articles in medicine--or in fact all Wikipedia articles in general? ,DGG (talk) 23:30, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- The goal of this page was to give new dermatology editors an easy and quick reference regarding citation of dermatology-related literature. I have several dermatologists I am trying to get involved in Wikipedia, but several of them state they are somewhat overwhelmed by all the different guidelines and policies, where to find them, etc. Therefore, I wanted to create a simple guide to help ease new editors in. To answer your question directly, there are really no new guidelines presented here, but I wanted to make sure my summary of existing policies/guidelines was done correctly. ---kilbad (talk) 01:27, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
