Extreme Makeover
editI've changed some of the images (and layout) for the stub-categories. One the one hand I wanted to make the layout more uniformous, on the other hand I thought too much of them used the Star of Life as a symbol (disease, sign,...), so I changed the others. Now only {{med-stub}} has the Star of Life. However, I think the images may not be ideal, e.g. I'm particularly still not satisfied with the ones for Dermatology and Diseases, although I've looked and found no better alternative. Comments are welcome.--Steven Fruitsmaak | Talk 10:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Great but medical sign is not the best one. We should avoid showing eyes in an image of a stub template. But I can't show better at the moment. Disease and dermatology are informative. They're good, don't worry! :) NCurse work 11:43, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Because of confusion with ophtalmology? If I don't find a free license picture of a knee jerk reflex soon I'm gonna make one myself!--Steven Fruitsmaak | Talk 14:06, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- No! :) Because of human rights. We should avoid things like that. NCurse work 16:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Extreme makeover revisited
editI tried to include Template:Disability-stub, but without success... anyone cares to try to put it in the table without distorting it's layout?--Steven Fruitsmaak | Talk 23:08, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Done. I had to fix the stub itself... NCurse work 06:57, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Suggestion: stub category for medical symptoms (as opposed to medical signs)
editIt seems a little odd that there's a stub category for medical signs but not symptoms, resulting in medical symptom 'stub' articles being added to the 'signs' stubs or (more often, apparently) the already-way-too-cluttered general 'medicine' stubs. There's no indication of any earlier dialog on the subject so I thought it best to bring the idea up for discussion before taking any action - for the moment at least, I don't have the nerve to even try to create the stub category myself. :) - Pacula 00:24, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Procedure stub
editWould it make sense to have a medical procedure stub? Example: Vacuum extraction -Ravedave (Adopt a State) 17:35, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Medical informatics category
editI'm looking at articles like Classificatie van verrichtingen and Circumpolar_Health_Bibliographic_Database and they really go under medical informatics or health information science or something like that. Gccwang (talk) 23:50, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
