- I have used MacDougall before for work on the Spithead and Nore mutinies and found his writing to be useful in filling narrative holes. I wasn't aware he was writing The Naval Mutinies of 1798 and my initial excitement has been thoroughly dampened by the review of Farquharson-Roberts. One to avoid, it seems. - Unfortunately the norm more than the exception now. It's gotten to the point where I won't blink at a price under £50...stomaching the £100 I paid for this wasn't fun! Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 22:12, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
