Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/DNB, people prominent in ODNB
Latest comment: 8 years ago by John K
How could an individual with a long ODNB article be non-notable? Notable just means "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." A long ODNB article is "significant coverage," and the ODNB is a reliable source that is independent of the subject. I'd suggest that, by definition, anyone with an ODNB article (or a Britannica article, or an article in just about any major reference work) is notable. john k (talk) 12:12, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
