Horning's Hideout
editNot sure if it's notable enough to merit an article, but Horning's Hideout in North Plains, Oregon was hosting some good-sized music festivals, especially those featuring Yonder Mountain String Band (the Northwest String Summit) and The String Cheese Incident. But they ran afoul of land-use laws and most of the events there, such as Pickathon (a KBOO benefit), were moved elsewhere. The NWSS is the only music festival there now, I believe. In the summer of 2011, Sound Tribe Sector 9 began hosting a festival at Horning's Hideout called ReGENERATION Festival. It will also be held in 2012 as well. Last I checked they were attempting to be grandfathered in under a Measure 37 claim. - Update, I guess the Hornings won and are going to be allowed to have events there again... Katr67 00:24, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Monthly Collaberation
editI was wondering if those of us in this subproject would like to work together on a Monthly Collaberation. I'm thinking something like over a month work on un-stubbing one Top importance article that falls within Culture each month. Then move on to working on improving all Start class articles that are Top importance into B class articles. I'm willing to committ 30 minutes of my time during a month to this, what about anyone else? Aboutmovies 00:03, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
