Merging
Puerto Rican American - what is this? I have never heard of this term - it should be merged into Puerto Rican --Charleenmerced Talk 20:23, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Charleenmerced
- Ditto... Hell will be more pleasant than Disneyland to any poor soul who dares to use the term in Puerto Rico proper; at least 48% of the country will fry him or her... and I'm being objective here... Demf 20:32, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Article Assessment
Has anyone considered forming an article assessment page for Puerto Rico articles? Many other wikiprojects have them because it helps to categorize which of those articles are of the most important and the condition they are in. The assessment table can be made as a subpage of this wikiproject, and the assessment icons can be placed into the {{PuertoRicoproj}} template. An example can be found here. What do you guys think? - Mtmelendez (TALK|UB|HOME) 16:20, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, great minds think alike!;-) I made a similar comment in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Puerto Rico/templates. --Charleenmerced Talk 16:51, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Charleenmerced
- I know. I answered your comment there too. However, I think we'll need an administrator to help us out on this one. Maybe, Joelito? - Mtmelendez (TALK|UB|HOME) 17:02, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Instructions on making these assessments and related pages are at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment. - Mtmelendez (TALK|UB|HOME) 17:03, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
I will make the appropiate changes so that articles can be assessed. Joelito (talk) 00:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Changes were made. Still pending is the creation of the categories and support pages for the assessment. I will try to create these tomorrow. Joelito (talk) 03:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not the an assessment guru, but dropping the importance Military history of Puerto Rico from "Top" importance to "High"? That I cannot understand. To give Agustin Ramos Calero an importance rate of "Low"? I read the criteria and I still don't get it. But, then I'm not so smart, the only thing that bugs me is that when a person who does not know who Agustin was and sees in the talk page that he is of "low" importance to the project, they'll ask: Then why have an artilce on him? Don't listen to my ranting I most likely don't know what I'm talking about anyway (smile). Tony the Marine 22:45, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Municipality Infobox?
I believe an infobox for Puerto Rico's municipalities should be created. I will begin the creation of this template and when done I will post a preview here (or at least I will create a link here )so everyone can comment, suggest before it is published. My objective is to change/create all current infoboxes on the municipalities articles. Joelito 23:14, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- The template has been created. It is very similar to the {{Template:Infobox City}}. A preview of the template can be found here. Joelito 18:45, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- I think we need to add class and importance (an whether it needs a picture) to the template. Here is an example Template:Wine.Charleenmerced Talk 15:55, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Charleenmerced
- The Municipality template looks good. I think we should use it, Joelito. As for article assessment of Puerto Rico related articles, I agree it should be done. It helps. However, it should incorporated to the Wikiproject template, not infoboxes. - Mtmelendez (TALK|UB|HOME) 16:13, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
