The light/dark red letters make it hard to read the "OA". I honestly don't like it. Thanks for trying. It is appreciated.Rlevse15:37, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ok, *shrug* lost me on that one. It's not my template; I was just trying to help. I think most people outside of OA would have no clue of the relevance of "WWW" to OA. Remove the image I put in from the template if you like. Just let me know if you do, so I can delete the image (as it's not going to be used anywhere else). --Durin17:49, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Actually, the current image is not bad, however, WWW would be OK, too. "OA" would be another alternative. As for the changing, I don't really mind. That's the wiki way. Eventually, we will probably have convergence on a consensus, or if not, we will find a way to "split the difference" and make everybody happy - like providing two versions. Since userboxes are mostly tangential to what is really happening here, I say that it's just great for people to have fun and look for improvements. NThurston19:04, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I recommend that we use this area to try out new ideas, vote for ones you like, etc. It seems much more effective/appropriate than constantly fiddling with the actual template. Here are a few of the recent versions:NThurston19:20, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Seeing as the WWW design got a lot of support in the above comments, I tweaked the one here a bit and came up with a slightly different design which I've added to the bottom of the sandbox. -- Thesquire (talk - contribs) 04:58, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
I like Thesquire's change, especially to white letters on red background. I'm adding a "split-the-difference" option for discussion purposes. NThurston15:49, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Here's my swing at a Template design, lemme know what y'all think. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mobius (talk • contribs) 13:37, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
