Hi, and welcome to the House WikiProject, there is something wrong with the main WikiProject page, I can't find the problem, so feel free to fix it. Furthermore feel free to look around, and if you have any questions please post them below. --Music26/11 13:55, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for working on this project. I find it very useful to look up the diseases discussed at the end of watching an episode for interest stake. Very good project, thanks. --ShaunMacPherson (talk) 14:01, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
disambiguating
Why are the House episodic articles being titularly disambiguated when there is no other topic present at their titles? — pd_THOR | =/\= | 15:44, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- I did that, fairly recent actually. I figured that since so many House episode titles parallel real potential article titles, it was better to just mass disambiguate them. Plus, it adds a level of standardization to the naming process for titles, giving newbies some extra comfort. NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 20:40, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- NO!!! Not this again! We went through this with Lost episodes. Please, please, please do not predisambiguate. In general, naming conventions are for deciding how to disambiguate, but they should not apply at all when disambiguation is not required. --Serge (talk) 02:53, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- Also, please see the TV episode naming guidelines: "For an article created about a single episode, add the series name in parentheses only if there are other articles by the same name". Those moves to predisambiguate are directly in violation of this guideline. Please fix them. --Serge (talk) 03:03, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Taskforcify
It is believed that shows should no longer have their own WikiProjects. In order to benefit from existing infrastructure such as assessment, style guidlines. Bringing many shows together under an umbrella topic, will bring many reviewers with interests in television together, and allow them to easily see goings on such as peer reviews, featured content candidates etc. instead of trying to keep an eye on many different projects at once. Not to mention there is inconsistent case naming in the panels and all these need moving to conform anyway.
For these reasons I propose the following moves:
- Wikipedia:WikiProject House — move to Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/House as a task force.
- Wikipedia:Wikiproject House/Right panel — move to Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/House/Right panel to keep existing structure
- Wikipedia:Wikiproject House/left panel — move to Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/House/Left panel to keep existing structure
Thanks, Rambo's Revenge (talk) 19:12, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- I have moved this project, to a task force. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 18:13, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
