Which article to Feature next?

Discuss future Stargate WikiProject Featured articles below. Show support for an article by voting under it, with a bullet point and your signature. If there is a consensus, enact the Feature - there should be at maximum 1 Feature a month.

• When there is a consensus:
  1. Remove the successful nomination section from the discussion page.
  2. Add the code {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Stargate/Featured}} to the top of the Talk page of the new Featured article.
  3. edit the Project page's Featured article section.
     • Update:
       1. Change the title and image to match the new Featured article.
       2. Replace the content with a snippet from the lead section of the new Featured article.
     • Archive:
       1. Now copy the entire contents of the updated section (except the heading right at the top).
       2. Paste that at the end of the archive, with a heading of the article's title.

Ori (Stargate)

• This article still has a very long way to go before it can be featured. The organziation could be better, there are few inline citations, etc.
• Personally, I think it has improved quite a lot since June... Maybe now it's ready to be featured? Maartentje 16:36, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Stargate SG-1

This is basically the most fact-based article and therefore more likely to become featured, it is the show that started it all and has more references as well. People don't want to know about the intricacies of the Stargate if the main show article isn't featured!--Zxcvbnm 14:01, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Stargate Featured Articles are not (necessarily) Featured articles on Wikipedia. Becoming a project-Featured article does not influence that in any way. The project's Featured-article system is a tool for promoting higher quality articles with specific appreciation within the project, and helps us build a body of very good articles that could then go on to be genuine Wikipedia Featured articles.
