- Should this page even perhaps be semiprotected, so that us regulars can edit it without requiring an admin? It's not really a high-traffic template, at least not any more than, say WT:VG/TD. Gary King (talk) 19:06, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well I agree. It hardly constitutes "high-risk." --.:Alex:. 19:11, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Unprotected (well, reduced to semi-protection). The page is transcluded on less than 100 pages. Feel free to make your edit. - Rjd0060 (talk) 22:28, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

- I pasted in the code. Someone tell me if I did it incorrectly :) Gary King (talk) 00:35, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Protection?
edit- 53357 transclusions, I am protecting. Rich Farmbrough, 22:45, 16 July 2011 (UTC).
- Congratulations, you just broke the bot automatically updating the randomly-selected WikiProject Video games collaboration of the week. Anomie⚔ 03:16, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
- Is there a way to make the bot able to edit it, while normal users can't? It would seem like it should be harder to edit. Blake (Talk·Edits) 02:05, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Abusing the WP:Edit filter could do it. Or get consensus to replace the bot with an adminbot, or get consensus to abuse the MediaWiki:Titleblacklist instead and move the task to User:AnomieBOT II (which has tboverride). Anomie⚔ 03:22, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
