- The concept here is more of a to-do list. --Dhartung | Talk 10:11, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- That's kinda what it looks like, but there really isn't any kind of explanation. I came looking for the page because I do work with Wisconsin bands, but it doesn't seem like anyone ever comes here. I think I'll add an explanation to the list of project subdivisions, on the Project Wisconsin page. -Freekee 14:37, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
I too work with many Wisconsin musicians and students too. Perhaps there's a page we need to make that encompasses Wisconsin Bands and musicians? RE: stodginess of music listings: i see now no mention of garbage, willy porter, gomers, zombeatles, killdozer, pat mcdonald, steel bridge, etc. etc. Can this be rectified? are people familiar w. the Steel Bridge Songfest in sturgeon bay ? Bifftar (talk) 07:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I should have said that I work with articles on Wisconsin bands. But there are a couple of articles on Wisconsin music in general. Music of Wisconsin and Music of Milwaukee. They make me cringe. I'm more of an editor than a writer, and these don't give me enough to work with. For a comprehensive listing, teh best places to look are Category:Music of Wisconsin, Category:Musicians from Wisconsin and Category:Musical groups from Wisconsin, but I'd much prefer well-written prose. If you have any ideas or suggestions, why don't you leave them at Talk:Music of Wisconsin. -Freekee (talk) 17:40, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
