Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women in Red/Number of links
A table for why some women in this list don't have articles
editThis list is a valuable resource for finding women which other parts of the Wikimedia Project may have considered notable. However, its main flaw is that it continues to list women even if there has been a discussion and a conclusion that the person is not notable enough for an English-language Wikipedia article.
The table below takes all women from the main list who have 10 or more links on other Wikimedia sites, and describes either:
- That they used to have an article, and why it was deleted, or
- That they've never had an English Wikipedia article, and a bit of information on if one might be appropriate.

Removed filters
editHey @Miraclepine: I recently noticed that this list hadn't been updating properly. I had tried requesting the ListeriaBot to update it a couple times, but it didn't register the request for some reason. Looking through the history, I traced the issue back to the adding of the AV idol and erotic model filters. I'm not sure why this broke the bot, but I've provisionally removed them for now just to get the list back to an updated form. Feel free to add the filters back in, but do make sure to test that the ListeriaBot understands the filter by submitting an update request. --Grnrchst (talk) 09:41, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Grnrchst: I don't think it's my additions that have causing the issue; the list hadn't been updated in months before I added them. I've re-added them and I'm updating the bot to see if it works. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:14, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Miraclepine: It seems to have broken updates again. I've tried submitting a couple update requests since you re-added and it hasn't worked. Maybe try removing one or the other to see which of the filters is causing this issue? --Grnrchst (talk) 15:35, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Grnrchst: I've tried removing one filter at a time, and I even used no filters; nothing's happening. Maybe it's an issue with the bot itself or we're updating too much? ミラP@Miraclepine 16:22, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- It makes sense that nothing would happen when updating with no filters, as the last time the list was updated was without the filters; i.e. it's not changing anything. Either something is up with the bot, the code or the wikidata entries behind the filters, I'm not sure. --Grnrchst (talk) 16:28, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think it's an issue of updating too much, as I've ran multiple sequential updates on a list before. If it fails to update with the filters but updated without the filters, something is going on between the bot and the filters that is causing problems. --Grnrchst (talk) 16:30, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
