What about using it on other Wikipedias /Grön sv 10:33, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Right now, the "download" method doesn't work for any other languages, because the current version doesn't allow you to specify another language. We're working on that and that should be fixed, hopefully. :-) In the meantime, you can do things the alternate way - saving the source code of the contributions page and selecting the "multiple local" or "single local" - see the last paragraph in using the tool. It's a bit slower, but it should work. Just a note of caution: we haven't tested it in any other languages - if there are any bugs, would you mind reporting them here? Many thanks! When I tested it that way it didnt work at all /Grön sv 20:20, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hmm... manual edits for en.wiki isn't working properly either. Let me take a look at it. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 21:15, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have one question. When I try to view the graphs under the graph tab, it wouldn't show any graphs. What do I do? Funnybunny (talk/Spread the word!) 02:09, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
The graphs don't really work yet... most of the coding is pointed to producing the text diplay, and we haven't worked on them yet. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 02:12, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Application appears blank

edit

On the newest version (5.00) of this tool, the application appears blank when first started, or when switching back and forth between other applications. If I move the mouse around, I can eventually see some of the text, and I can get the tool to retrieve the edit counts, but it's quite difficult to do so when most of everything appears blank. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this? I can run more tests or provide more details if requested. I have the J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7 and the J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 7 installed. I am using Windows XP Professional with SP2. If this is not the correct place for comments like this, please direct me. --Muéro 17:28, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Posting here is fine, but that's... strange. I can't seem to be able to replicate the problem. I'm running WinXP SP2 as well, and JDK 5.0 update 6. Does the tool take a while to load while loading the contributions, or does it just take a while to initialize? Titoxd(?!?) 03:41, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
On a hunch, I changed the settings in my Display Properties -> Advanced -> Windows and buttons, and then everything started working fine. Everything had been working fine, but the text would only become visible when I moved the mouse over it. I had been using a theme that tried to imitate Vista's look on XP, which was probably stretching XP's theming abilities a little too far. So I doubt it's a bug with this tool, but instead a bug with the theme. Anyway, thanks for the response. --Muéro 05:52, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sure, no problem. Is everything else working well? Titoxd(?!?) 06:21, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

After switching from the crazy "Vista on XP" theme (which caused a few minor problems with other programs as well), everything seems to be working great, although I haven't had much time to try out all the features yet. --Muéro 07:42, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Crash

edit

Where can I report crash reports? I tried to run it on my contribs but it keeps crashing up on me on the 2nd 5k of my edits...-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  00:12, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Odd... I would try closing out the application and re-running it again; I'm not sure what's going on. Perhaps Titoxd or someone else would be able to be of more help? Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:45, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
