editPlease add about six (free) images from your articles, and I'll pick and work in a selection. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:05, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

edit- Uh, this is going to be pretty easy as most articles I've written don't have free images :P

Harbhajan Singh, nothing great but a personal photo that I took. The article was FA in March 2007, photo in 2008....but nevertheless I mentioned the article in my answers
-
Phan Xich Long, picture is ordinary but article is a great off-beat story about a cult leader who tried to overthrow the French colonials with magic potions
-
A lot of articles were about Vietnam during the rule of President Ngo Dinh Diem (1955-1963)
-
Ngo Dinh Nhu, younger brother and advisor to Diem. Brains behind the Ngo family regime and involved in most of the Diem era FAs.
-
Picture of Don Tallon executing a textbook stumping, removing a bail without knocking the stump.
-
Picture of Don Bradman's Invincibles. Don Tallon, Ernie Toshack, Arthur Morris and Bill Brown (cricketer) were all FAs from this cricket team.

Terra Nova Expedition, the saddest photograph in Antarctic history. Scott's party at the South Pole, beaten by Amundsen and facing death on the return journey.
-
Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration: Ernest Shackleton looking careworn, as he contemplates life on the ice after the loss of his ship.
-
Rhinemaidens: The opening scene of Wagner's Ring cycle. It doesn't stay as innocent as this for long.
-
Mozart family Grand Tour: The child Mozart, his sister Nannerl and father Leopold, playing together during the family's tour of northern Europe.
-
Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition: A magnificent picture of Shackleton's ship Endurance, before disaster struck.
-
Farthest South: Carsten Borchgrevink, unsung hero, responsible for an impressive list of Antarctic "firsts", but today entirely forgotten. His face (and name) didn't fit.

New editors and FAs
editThere are other cases of new editors (not sockpuppets!) bringing articles up to FA standard relatively quickly. For example, User:NancyHeise first started editing on 12 August 2007 and had brought Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Miami to FAC in a little more than two months. —Angr 06:58, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
