William Hamilton was Archdeacon of Armagh[1] from 1700 to 1730.[2]
Hewetson was born in Caledon, County Tyrone and educated at Trinity College, Dublin[3] and Wadham College, Oxford.[4] His brother[5] was Archdeacon of Raphoe for 64 years.[6]
