Geography
editThe ward covers a large part of the northern area of Boston and borders the suburbs of Fenside, Fishtoft, Station and Trinity.[7] Additionally, the area includes the neighbourhood of Hall Hills.[8] It is also slightly bisected by the Poacher Line between Boston, Wainfleet and Skegness.[9] As well as the former East Lincolnshire Railway between Boston and Grimsby Town via Alford Town and Louth. It closed in the 1970s but originally continued along the Poacher Line to both Spalding and the line to Lincoln via the Lincolnshire loop line. Additionally, the ward also includes the A1137 and A16 roads. It is also home to the UKIM Boston Mosque & Islamic Centre and[10]St Mary's Catholic Church[11] on Horncastle Road. The original settlement of Witham Town was first recorded in 1882 and forms part of the original Boston town.[12]
