Yam (Persian: يام)[a] is a village in Hesar Rural District of Khabushan District, Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,428 in 400 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,408 people in 454 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,328 people in 452 households. Yam was the most populous village in its rural district at the time.[2]
