History
editPhan first launched Yumi Kim in 2004. She makes all of her clothes completely from silk.[2][3]
In 2008, the first Yumi Kim flagship store opened on New York's Lower East Side at 105 Stanton St.[4] In March 2009, Phan created the Yumi Kim online store. Her garments are featured in stores throughout the United States.[5] In 2011, a second Yumi Kim flagship store opened New York's Upper East Side.[6][7][8]
